Locks - the standard club locks were changed on Sunday 12th May - Please make sure you've paid your subs and got your new key - it operates the 3rd padlock down on the gate by the dam, the lock on our car park gate and on the roller shutter to the clubhouse. The combination lock on the first gate is for use by visitors and its code is changed regularly. We'll change the annual combination on the inner clubhouse door at the end of Monday 27th May - we'll provide this to members shortly. Visitors - please see Contact Us page to get the gate combination.

11th May - I asked the usual question on arrival "what size are you rigging?" "Ten" came the reply. I don't think I've ever heard that answer before! Anyway, most of us started too large and changed down as the wind picked up and as we realised it was a lot stronger in the middle than in the wind shadow around the club. 5.5 to 6.5m was what we finished with. There were 8 sailors and a similar number on Friday too.

25th to 27th May - Robin Hood Watersports will bring demo kit on 1 or 2 of these days based on the best forecast. We'll watch the carve gybe footage from 4th May in the late afternoon before an evening barbecue - bring your own food and drinks. There'll be some recorded music and members can camp as well. We're not doing catering for this event but you're welcome to use our galley, microwave, kettle and tea/coffee.

Website - our thanks to Ian Taylor who's doing some work to counter hacking. There could be some disruption mid-May but he's made good progress so far and all without inconvenience to members. There were 28 people simultaneously online at 2pm on 7th March, so we know it matters!

Board storage - we're down to our last few available board slots in the container - have a look at it when you're next up as it's all rather smart!
